Euro (€) to Norwegian Krone (kr) Conversion
Euro
The Euro (EUR) is the official currency of 20 of the 27 EU member states and the second most traded currency in the world. Introduced as an accounting currency in 1999 and as physical cash in 2002, the Euro eliminated exchange rate risk within the single market and is managed by the European Central Bank (ECB) in Frankfurt. The ECB publishes official reference rates each working day at approximately 16:00 CET — the source of the live rates displayed on this page.
Norwegian Krone
The Norwegian Krone (NOK) is the official currency of Norway, managed by Norges Bank. Norway's economy is substantially supported by its sovereign wealth fund — the Government Pension Fund Global, the world's largest at over $1.4 trillion — funded by revenues from the North Sea oil and gas industry. The NOK is a commodity-linked currency strongly correlated with oil prices, and is part of the Scandinavian monetary tradition shared with the Swedish krona (SEK) and Danish krone (DKK).
