Euro (€) to Indonesian Rupiah (Rp) Conversion
Euro
The Euro (EUR) is the official currency of 20 of the 27 EU member states and the second most traded currency in the world. Introduced as an accounting currency in 1999 and as physical cash in 2002, the Euro eliminated exchange rate risk within the single market and is managed by the European Central Bank (ECB) in Frankfurt. The ECB publishes official reference rates each working day at approximately 16:00 CET — the source of the live rates displayed on this page.
Indonesian Rupiah
The Indonesian Rupiah (IDR) is the official currency of Indonesia, the world's fourth most populous country and Southeast Asia's largest economy. Managed by Bank Indonesia, the rupiah is quoted at large nominal values (typically 15,000–16,000 per USD). Indonesia is a major exporter of coal, palm oil, nickel, and natural gas. The rupiah's large nominal denomination reflects historical inflation — no redenomination has occurred since the 1950s, so prices of everyday goods routinely run into the millions of rupiah.
